Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Hotel Lake Side Inn, we strive to provide a seamless booking experience. However, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our management.

​1. Cancellation Rules

​The following charges apply based on when the cancellation request is received:

​15 Days or More Before Check-in: Full refund of the booking amount (minus 5% bank processing/transaction fees).

​7 to 14 Days Before Check-in: 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.

​Less Than 7 Days Before Check-in: No refund (0%) will be provided for cancellations made within a week of the arrival date.

​2. No-Show Policy

​If a guest fails to arrive at the hotel on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice, the entire booking amount will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

​3. Early Check-out

​In case of an early departure (checking out before the scheduled date), the hotel is not liable to refund any amount for the unused nights.

​4. Refund Process

​Refund Method: Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method (UPI, Credit/Debit Card, or Net Banking) used during the booking.

​Timeline: Once approved, the refund amount will typically reflect in your account within 5 to 7 working days, depending on your bank's processing time.

​5. Peak Season & Special Events

​During peak seasons (like Summer Vacations, New Year, Christmas, and Festivals), all bookings are Non-Refundable. We recommend confirming your travel dates carefully during these periods.

​6. Force Majeure (Natural Events)

​Nainital is a hilly region. In case of extreme weather conditions, landslides, or government-imposed travel restrictions that prevent you from reaching the hotel, we offer the option to Reschedule your stay to a later date (subject to availability).
